Needle Syringe Program

We have learned for a long time that the Needle Syringe Program is an important Harm Reduction measure to avoid new infections of HIV/AIDS among the Injection Drug Users. That is the main reason for no new infections among the IDUs during three years in a row.

It’s a significant measure to avoid new infections, however due to the current law many users are afraid to return used syringes. Therefore, we need to think about a law effectiveness as we have many examples around the world that show punitive laws are not efficient.

We do not want to find our public places in these conditions that put others at risk, thus the importance of using the NSP and our yellow safety boxes for proper disposal.
