Long Term Residential - Male

This program incorporates the bio-psychosocial model, therapeutic community and methadone- to abstinence – residential (MTAR) program with relapse prevention follow up.

ARTM follows the Therapeutic Community approach, which means that the community itself is the principal means for promoting personal change, through self-help and mutual support.

The client community works together with the staff to overcome the problem of substance dependence and promote personal change. At ARTM, clients (referred to as residents) and staff participate in the management and day to day operation of the TC community, providing a cohesive and safe environment.

Residents are encouraged to take responsibility for them and build their awareness of the effect their behaviour has on themselves and the community around them.

Our spacious treatment centre offers the residential therapeutic program free of charge for locals. It can house up to fifty men who are working towards an independent life free from addiction.
