27th IFNGO WORLD CONFERENCE

The International Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations for Drug and Substance Abuse (IFNGO) together with Association of Rehabilitation of Drug Abusers of Macau (ARTM) hosted the 27th IFNGO World Conference – “Understanding – Addiction, Treatment, Prevention and Harm Reduction Policy” at the Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel on November 6th to 8th, 2017.

All ARTM employees worked hard to organize this long-awaited event this year and we’re very glad to say that it was remarkably accomplished on the beginning of November 2017. It was a great gathering of 235 participants from all around the world (25 countries) where there was an opportunity to reflect on measures and achievements on both sides of the spectrum: those who advocate harm reduction and those who advocate zero tolerance.

Essentially, there was various plenary sessions and workshops that provided great discussions involving the themes such as law enforcement, prevention, treatment and harm reduction.

We are delighted that it was a successfully completed conference where there was a lot of sharing of wisdom and know-how that truly benefited all our participants and we’re glad that they all had a great time!
