Art of Healing II Exhibition Opening

ARTM has opened its 6th exhibition at our Hold On To Hope Gallery on October 30th at the yellow houses in Our Lady of Sorrows Church Village, in Ka-Ho. Bearing the name ART OF HEALING II, it’s the second time collaboration giving continuity to our first ever exhibition.

It’s our second collaboration with the China National Narcotics Control Commission, and our visitors were able to look through around 90 art pieces from ARTM & China Narcotics Control Commission residents, including some pieces from the first exhibition as well.

Thank you to everyone who decided to join as well as our distinguished guests and VIPs.
In addition to the exhibition opening, we officially opened the doors to two more heritage yellow houses that will be managed by ARTM, the Life Library Cafe and The Kids Zone. The two new houses’ purpose is for fun family activities.

In the Life Library Cafe, you will be able to have a quiet place for a book and a refreshment. We have books and souvenirs available for purchase. You will be able to find various books about Macau, its history, identity, culture, and cuisine, from our collaboration with the Instituto Internacional de Macau (IIM). In the future, we are hoping to create small workshops on thematic subjects there as well.

As for The Kids Zone, we will be having art workshops and art activities for children as well as T-Shirt printing services.

These two new houses will follow the same working hours as the H2H Cafe and the Hold On To Hope Gallery. Mon-Tue; Fri - 10:30-17:00; Sat-Sun/Public Holidays: 10:30-18:30. Closed on Wednesday and Thursday.

We would like to show our appreciation to the International Ladies Club of Macau (ILCM) for their sponsorship of $25,000 Patacas to support us in the acquisition of equipment for the two new houses. We feel so thankful for their continuous support of ARTM and our projects that will hopefully support our residents and Macau citizens as well.

To make this day even more wonderful, we had the participation of Dave Wan, as we had a great time listening to his beautiful sounds.

He creates music with the handpan instrument that makes such relaxing and soothing sounds. What an amazing experience it was! Listening to these sounds of healing that focuses on harmony and stress release. It was almost like meditating.

It was an amazing day. Thank you so much for joining us!

Thank you everyone for your continuous support!

This showing will be available for the public until November 22nd!

Support! Don’t punish!

Thank you!
